LANSING, Mich. — The Michigan Downtown Association (MDA) recently honored state Sen. Ken Horn as one of their previous Legislators of the Year.
Horn was recognized by the organization for his continued legislative efforts to revitalize Michigan’s downtown areas.
“I worked closely with the Michigan Downtown Association in consolidating tax increment finance districts into one section of law to improve accountability and transparency. I appreciate their partnership on that legislation and am honored to receive this award,” said Horn, R-Frankenmuth. “I look forward to many more years of collaboration with MDA to keep our downtowns thriving.”
