LANSING, Mich. — The Michigan Restaurant and Lodging Association recently honored state Sen. Ken Horn, R-Frankenmuth, as one of their 2019 Legislators of the Year.
Horn was recognized by the organization for his continued support of Michigan businesses and the restaurant and lodging industry. Joining the senator at the event was Amy Zehnder Grossi from Horn’s hometown of Frankenmuth.
“This industry is where I got my start, where I met my wife, and where I spent much of my career,” Horn said. “My district is home to one of Michigan’s most famous destinations and is full of original restaurants and lodging establishments that will make you feel at home. I support the industry, not only because I have been there, but because I realize its importance in keeping Michigan at the top of many people’s travel destinations.”
